TS fuzzy prediction-based SVC compensation of wind farms flicker: A dual-UKF approach

Fast fluctuations in wind farm power produce voltage flicker the network. One way to mitigate is place a static VAr compensator (SVC). Due operating delay of SVCs, it essential predict reactive power. Here, novel fuzzy nonlinear modeling approach suggested and used one-step-ahead prediction characteristics. The base developed Takagi-Sugeno representation dual-unscented Kalman filter (D-UKF). In other words, TS system trained online via D-UKF. forecasted value as SVC's reference signal. A large number actual data gathered from are for performance evaluation. These collected winter summer different climate situations. Using current source with changing amplitude phase which updated every half-cycle model farm. Numerical results, including indices, confirm improvement performance.
